Bright voices, happy learners

Meet Sharon

Sharon Lau M.S., CCC-SLP

Hi! I'm a pediatric speech-language pathologist with over five years of experience supporting children and their families. I earned my Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from CSU East Bay. Since graduating, I have worked at various private speech clinics before pursing my own practice.

My approach to therapy is play-based, collaborative, and child-led. I believe that the most meaningful communication growth happens when children feel safe, seen, and supported—especially in partnership with their families. I’m PROMPT trained and also fluent in Cantonese and competent in conversational Mandarin, which allows me to connect with and support multilingual families in a meaningful way. I have extensive experience working with autistic individuals, speech and language delay, gestalt language processing, speech sound disorders, social communication group therapy, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). I am in the process of obtaining a certification in Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS).

Outside of my work, I love discovering local restaurants with my family, taking my daughter to fun experiences, and relaxing with a good TV show. I feel honored to be part of each child’s journey and am committed to helping your child feel confident and known.

Screenings and Assessments

We offer speech and language screenings and assessments to help determine whether therapy is needed and to identify individualized goals. If your child has already completed a recent assessment elsewhere, no problem — we are happy to review it and provide continuity of care so your child’s progress can continue seamlessly.

In-home and Tele-therapy Services

We are currently providing in-home services throughout San Mateo County. Families in neighboring counties are welcome to inquire, and we will discuss the possibility of arranging in-home visits based on availability.

We also offer teletherapy services to residents across California, ensuring families have access to quality speech therapy wherever they are.
